My family is planning to migrate to Stockton California any thoughts on the place?
We're both nurses in profession and got a little kid. We've got an offer to work in Dameron Hospital. Both negative and positive impressions of the place will be highly appreciated.

I grew up in that area and now live in Texas. My Mother just recently moved from Texas this last Summer back there and she hates it. Big adjustment to living. Everything costs more. You may make more money, but things cost more so it really evens out. Have you ever lived in California? Stockton is a larger farming area and a very large spanish community. I would really consider taking a trip/vacation there first. What ever you decide, Good Luck to you.

I live in Stockton. It has 289,927 people. Very diverse population only 43 percent white. We have been one of the worst affected cities from the housing market crash. For the little kid, there are great primary and secondary schools. Trust me , I've been to them. Other good attractions are the Bob Hope Theatre, Regal City Centre Cinemas, Sheraton hotel and the Banner Island ballpark, oh one more thing...... everyone supports Stockton Lightning (football team). We also have some weird festivals like the Stockton Asparagus festival. The standard of livings really good and good place to bring up a kid. Hope This Helps!
