how to make my mma life work?
im planning on moving somewhere with a really good gym. most likely california. i live in florida and have never been to cali, but im looking for a big change. i was thinking like stockton area. but i dont know what to do when i am there. find an apartment and a job i guess. i am a bartender and would need to make $500 a week minimum just to survive. any suggestions? i would have like 4-5grand to work with

Get all the private lessons you can. Thats how good mma fighters make it. you have to be the best of the best....

well you could live in he homeless shelter to start off with. find the gym and a job and go from there

Don't. Do you really want to be punched in the face for a living? Even if you are good, there's only a small chance of you making any money doing it. Devote your life to something more useful to society.

$500.00 a week to survive? Obviously you have never been to Cali. Don't give up on your dreams but on the other hand make sure they are realistic. Don't expect to make a living in MMA. Think of all the guys in MMA that make a decent living in it... now thing of the thousands of others that would like to. But hey, go for it if that is what you want. Oh yeah... don't forget about med. ins. and what you are going to do after you get too old to fight. You know, 30.

there are a lot of good gyms, great gyms, that are in places a lot less expensive than cali. look into it.
